5 Day Safari 

Lake Manyara, Ngorgoro & Serengeti

The most popular National Park in the whole of Africa, the Serengeti is also a World Heritage Site, famous for is the migration of 1,500,000 white bearded wildebeests, 250,000 zebras and 300,000 Thompson Gazelles that takes place each year. Join this safari to witness this spectacular natural phenomenon. We have mobile safari camps inside the national park, which offers an intimate, flexible and up close experience of this bustling East African savannah. Outside the height of migration season, wildlife viewing is still in its abundance with some spectacular viewing opportunities. Lion prides, buffalo, groups of elephants and giraffes can be seen as well as leopards, cheetahs, jackels, spotted hyenas, Grant's gazelle to name just a few as well as over 500 species of birds.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Lake Manyara National Park
We depart from our accommodation and drive through the rolling landscape of Lake Manyara NP where we will have the chance to see the thousands of flamingos for which the park is renowned for, as well as other species including the tree climbing lion! We stop for a relaxing lunch before continuing with a game drive in the afternoon before eventually reaching our lodge in the evening.

 

DAY 2-4: Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park
For 3 days we explore the Ngorongoro Crater and the world famous Serengeti, with 2 nights in a mobile camp and a night in a lodge. During our game drives we should be able to spot some of the big cat families as well as zebras, giraffes, buffalos and many more! On day 3 there is also the option to take a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti for stunning views across the plains.

 

DAY 5: Return to UK
This morning, after breakfast we head back to Arusha, where, time permitting we will be able to explore some of the town before we head back to Kilimanjaro airport for our flight to the UK.  A packed lunch will be provided.

An initial deposit of £175 is required to book an extension and final balance is due 10 weeks prior to departure.
